Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) organizes the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) every year for students of classes 1 to 12.
The primary goal of organizing these Olympiads is to help bring out the inner scientists of the students. These help the students to think out of the box. Question in these papers are quite tough and require deep knowledge to solve.
Other than knowledge, these Olympiads also check the ability of children to solve complex problems in their mind in a limited time frame. These help the child's brain to develop fast thinking.
Best way to prepare for these Olympiads is to understand the chapter thoroughly. But other than just reading books, a student must also be able to apply these concepts in questions.
That's why, doing the Previous Year Questions (PYQs) becomes important for anyone who wants to excel in these Olympiads.
